COURSE DECRIPTION
This course is designed to teach the knowledge and skills required to
maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following
cardiac arrest. The content is based on Australian Resuscitation Council
2006 guidelines.
PRE-/CO-REQUISITES
There are no pre requisites for this course. Current industry standard
dictates that this course requires reaccreditation every 12 months.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Topics covered include assessing the chain of survival, assessing the
situation, identifying signs of life, performing CPR, demonstrating the use
of an automated external defibrillator, care of the unconscious person,
techniques for children and infants, CPR in varying circumstances and
reporting procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL RECIEVE
At the conclusion of the course, you will receive a Statement of
Attainment, valid for 1 year.
COST AND DURATION
Our training facility is conveniently located at Level 14, 44 Market
Street in the Sydney CBD. It is delivered face to face over 3 - 4 hours.
Assessment is through demonstration of practical skills. The cost is $TBA
