Kinder Caring Academy
The Kinder Caring Academy is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The Academy is registered by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Advisory Board (VETAB) against national standards. The Academy is a division of the well respected Kinder Caring Home Nursing Service which has been in operation for more than 10 years.Kinder Caring is a Quality Accredited Organisation and was recently re-accredited by the Australian Council on Health Standards (ACHS). This should provide reassurance to prospective and current students that thorough management systems are in place for the Academy.
Kinder Caring is also a champion of cultural diversity with both clients and staff from "many lands". Kinder Caring has a culture of continuous improvement with a strong emphasis on safety.
From 2009 Kinder Caring will offer the following nationally accredited programs and qualifications:
- CHC30108 Certificate III in Aged Care
- CHC40108 Certificate IV in Aged Care
- CHC30308 Certificate III in Home and Community Care
- CHC40208 Certificate IV in Home and Community Care
- HLTCPR201A Perform CPR and CPR Reaccreditation
These programs can be completed either full time or part time with a range of options being available.
Enrolment Process
Step 1: Prepare to enrol
Find your course details online then:
- check the course information to confirm any special pre-enrolment requirements (and complete requirements if necessary)
- check the enrolment information on the course brochure to confirm the date and time of enrolment for your course.
Step 2: Have you got your documentation?
On enrolment day, remember to take the necessary documents with you to show evidence that you meet entry requirements.
You may need to provide documentation to prove you have met entry requirements, support claims for Recognition of Prior Learning or accompany any claims for fee exemptions.
Step 3: Attend the enrolment session

In 2010, students who are granted a concession because they are receiving Centrelink or Veteran's Affairs benefits may be required to pay a concession fee.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Kinder Caring provide all new and existing students with the opportunity to apply for RPL.
RPLs is a processing for acknowledging through workplace assessment existing skills, knowledge and experience that can be accredited as progress towards one of the qualifications on offer.
Existing staff have been offered the "get a qualification at work" process which will include a component of RPL.

Where are we located
Kinder Caring Academy is currently opperating in the heart of the Sydney CBD in Market Street, adjacent to the QVB Building and very close to Town Hall station.
These new premises provide modern training facilities with the latest in audio visual terminals. The academy is also in the processing of providing much of its training resources online.
Our Academy Staff
Our friendly and professional staff have significant experience in home, community and aged care.
Registered Nurses , Staff Coordinators and Human Resources staff are allocated subjects of expertise.
As all our staff are currently working in the industry it ensures their skills are kept up to date.
